As a new patient, you’ll start your care with an initial consultation + evaluation, followed by your first acupuncture treatment. You will receive online paperwork to fill out at home prior to your first visit. What you write in your forms will form the basis for your conversation with Susanna. She will ask you detailed questions about the reason for your visit, your current health and health history, your goals from treatment, and then will go over her recommended treatment plan. Then, you’ll get to lay down in a warm and relaxing space and receive your first acupuncture treatment.
Treatment plans are customized to your unique situation, but plan for a series of 8-12 treatments over 4-6 weeks. Effects from acupuncture are cumulative, with results increasing over time. Responses to treatment vary, based on your lifestyle and individual health status. After the initial series of treatments, monthly maintenance treatments are recommended so you can continue to feel your best.

Follow-up acupuncture sessions begin with a brief conversation where you update Susanna on any changes since your last visit and how she can best help you today.
