What Can Acupuncture treat?
Acupuncture can be beneficial for almost any condition, because your practitioner treats you, not your condition. Acupuncture restores balance to your body and mind by using acupuncture filaments to stimulate your body's natural ability to heal itself.
Because of this wholistic mechanism, acupuncture effectively treats a wide variety of conditions and symptoms. However, in recent years, many studies have been completed to scientifically "prove" the effectiveness of acupuncture for the treatment of specific conditions. In 2003, the the World Health Organization (WHO) and the National Institute of Health (NIH), released the attached report, “Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials”, stating the effectiveness of acupuncture in treatment of the following conditions. Since 2003, numerous other clinical trials have been conducted, proving the effectiveness of acupuncture for the treatment many more conditions.
